Photography Style
I always aim for a class and clean look when it comes to my photographs. I believe this can give photographs the right kind of "WOW" factor. I also try to sprinkle in a little bit of a vintage or unique look, whether it is the props, clothing, location, or even the editing. I prefer a timeless style.
My main focus is always the subject. I want it to stand out in an individualistic way. Especially when it comes to my clients. Everyone has that distinct trait to their personality or their physical features.
Experience
During high school, I discovered photography through 4-H. I entered multiple photographs in the Union County Fair. Eventually, my photographs made it to the Iowa State Fair. Through this experience, I learned most of the basics of photography. I started out with floral and lanscape photography. Soon I began animal photography.
I have taken a class at SWCC for photography. During that class I learned more about the smaller details of photgraphy. I was introduced to Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop too. Every day I am searching for new techniques and such to improve my photography. I am always trying to move foward.
Simply You Photography
Photography is a hobby of mine, however I knew I wanted to take it to the next step. I wanted to have a business. I wanted to share my photography with other and to expand my creativity. So I spent countless hours researching, planning, and preparing SYP. I wanted to start out looking polished and professional. I meant business.
Now that I have finally launched SYP, I could never have been happier or proud of my accomplishments. I plan to work hard to help Simply You Photography to grow and branch out.
